An evening woven with inspirational message and music by these inspiring presenters:
Sobonfu Somé
“Reclaiming Each Other”
Each woman is a gift a gift that is vital to the wellbeing of the individual and the community. To bring the world to a place of health and balance each woman is invited to embrace this gift, to claim the self and each other in order to manifest her divine power.
Sobonfu is from the indigenous Dagara tribe of Burkina Faso. She is the author of "The Spirit of Intimacy: Ancient African Teachings on the Ways of Relationships," "Women's Wisdom from the Heart of Africa - (CD) and "Falling Out of Grace: Meditations on Loss, Healing and Wisdom."
Susan Armstrong
“Beyond Boundaries: Following the spiritual path to success”
Susan’s story is the story of a very young girl who with amazing strength and pure guts strived to find a life that she knew as her only sanctuary. Her courageous story tells of an inspiring survival to become a woman of substance now helping others who are victims of abuse.
Susan Armstrong is a professional speaker, trainer and award winning author of “An Invisible Prison: A true story of survival." Her story has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the Life Televison Network.
Jean Shinoda Bolen
“The Invisible Power of Women in Circles”
Circles that draw energy through the center are a womb spaces where possibilities can be held until birthed. Each circle taps into an invisible field, becoming one more on the way to the metaphoric “millionth circle.”
Jean Shinoda Bolen, M. D. is an author, analyst, and activist. ) She is the author of The Tao of Psychology, Goddesses in Everywoman, Gods in Everyman, Ring of Power, Crossing to Avalon, Close to the Bone, The Millionth Circle, Goddesses in Older Women, Crones Don't Whine, and Urgent Message From Mother.
Musical performances by:
Kellianna, singer/songwriter who performs powerful Goddess and Mythology inspired Folk Music and Chants. She has performed before on our stage with the Sacred Fire Choir, and for several years at the Goddess Conference in Glastonbury, England. Her new CD,
I Walk With the Goddess was released in September 2007.
Ferron is a Canadian folk singer/songwriter and poet. In addition to being one of Canada’s most famous folk musicians, she is one of the most influential writers and performers of women’s music and an important influence on later musicians such as Ani DiFranco and the Indigo Girls.

Spirit of Women is a retrospective performance of Women of Wisdom’s contribution to the Divine Feminine over the past 16 years. Excerpts from the book Women of Wisdom: Empowering the Dreams and Spirit of Women, by Founder, Kris Steinnes, are woven into women’s wisdom and stories expressed through the spoken word, music and dance. Join us for this exciting dramatic musical with our uplifting Sacred Fire Choir, conducted by Robert Wade, who have performed at Women of Wisdom since 2000.

In the morning we will have 3 hours of experiential festivities with an opening ritual by Nicki Scully, chanting led by Kellianna and belly dancing with Zaphara. We will dance, sing and be merry!
