A call for artists


Women of Wisdom 2010 Art Show


The 18th Annual WOW conference presents “Dancing the Transformation” Art Show.


We are looking for original art by women (can be high quality prints) with themes around the conference title From Ancient Ground We Dance the Transformation. This year’s Art Show will be held at the conference site in the cafeteria at N. Seattle Community College.


Submissions of up to 10 photos or slides or CDs are accepted. Maximum size is 3 x 4 ft and smaller is preferred. There is a $25 fee to apply. Up to 5 pieces per artist will be accepted. All pieces must stay up the whole time of the art show.


Women of Wisdom cannot insure your art pieces. You are voluntarily submitting your art at your own risk. The conference doors will be locked when we are not present.


Deadline to submit art is January 6th.


Art Show Application


All pieces selected must be ready to hang and be delivered to the college on Friday, February 12th. We will notify you later of the exact details. Art must be picked up between 3:00 – 4:30 pm on Monday, Feb. 15th. Artist will receive 70% commission for the sale of any art within two weeks of the conference closing.
