Awakening Our Wellness through Sound and Intention

These days of great unknowns, times of insecurity is a time of more need to know how to connect and cultivate a relationship with our innate wellness/wisdom. Within each of us is an innate intelligence, a blueprint that has always been, that is our own expression of the source of our Being.

Our focus will be in this workshop

  • To Awaken our Wellness

  • Find our Sound Signature

  • Use our Voices for Self-care

  • Discover Sound as our teacher

Our bodies are nearly 80% liquid. Our liquidity is easily shaped by our thinking, belief systems, speaking and intentions. Our liquid self becomes congested through physical and emotional impact, and through everyday living and aging. Sound literally assists the body to stay more liquid.

In our time together we will reclaim capacity for using our voices to aid our bodies to stay more fluid, which aids in our willingness to change. We will explore therapeutic aspects of sound, especially the sound of one's own voice. We will have the opportunity to experience how sound can change and create form. We will access Sound as a Teacher, and use our voices for our own energetic and self-care healing work.

Vickie Dodd is an internationally known pioneer in the field of Sound as Bodywork for over 35 years. She is an Aston Patterning Teacher, a certified Nutritional Therapist, author of Tuning the Blues to Gold: Soundprints and has several recordings. She is Director of the School for Sound and Sacred Art. She teaches throughout the US and in Europe. Director of SoundBody Productions and resides in Port Angeles, WA.

Divine Mother and the 2012 Prophecy

This session combines discussion, meditation and stories of Divine Mother (some incarnate today). Worship of the Absolute in the form of Divine Mother, lost to the west for hundreds of years, has continued as an unbroken source of spiritual inspiration in the East for millennia. We'll look at Her many forms and the proliferation of Her appearances in the last 100 years. What's the message she's attempting to give us and how can we better hear Her? What's the connection between Her messages and the Mayan prophecy for 2012? We'll compare Mayan mythology to the messages of the Goddess/Mother figures to weave together enlightening and useful information!

As a long term business woman and devotee, Barbara has been mindful to bring the lessons of Divine Mother into practical application in daily life, while educating and assisting other's growth in all areas. A long time community college instructor, and Money Wise Woman instructor, she's taught on all aspects of investing. Barbara's current interest is in Sustainable & Responsible Investing, and Conscious Business; bringing one's spiritual beliefs into active practice in the workplace as a means of personal and collective transformation. In addition, she has led and assisted women's spiritual groups for over 16 years, spreading the message of Divine Mother.

Seeing the Goddess Within Through Creative Art

An exploration of our inner divinity revealed through visioning and art. We all have divinity within our humanity, as we are all connected to the Sacred Feminine in its myriad forms. Through guided meditation, music, and visioning ritual we will connect with the mystical female within and create artwork to express and explore her message to us. Together we will explore the group process of sight, insight, and art, as we create a sacred community in which the goddess manifests through our art and in our lives. This will be personally revelatory while building a group perspective through shared experience.

Heather Taylor-Zimmerman is a professional artist with work in public and private collections including museums, hospitals, libraries and schools. With a B.A. in Art History and a B.S. in Psychology, Heather has studied cultures from around the world with a particular interest in sacred geometry, numerology and comparative religion. She has created a series of iconic mandalas to express the divine female, as part of the universal trinity of father, mother and child--the human family. She is creating a temple of humanity, in which diversity is unified and equality achieved. Visioning is her art.

The Natural Spiritual Authority of Woman and its Embodiment in The Tantric Dance of Feminine Power

This workshop will include an experiential Lecture/Slide Show and Moving Meditation

Journey deep into your body-heart-womb to recognize your cellular knowing of Woman's Natural Spiritual Authority! Woman's.-Natural.-Spiritual.-Authority! This cellular knowing, we then embody in guided subtle-body meditation based in The Tantric Dance of Feminine Power. This liberates and mandates us to unfold into our power and authority as a woman in today's world.

Nourishment: Vibration of Food & Spirit of Eating

This dynamic, interactive workshop will dive into ways to make eating more meaningful and how to tap into all the energy - physical and subtle - that foods and the experience of eating can provide. Dr. Deanna Minich will talk about how the scientific and spiritual aspects of eating can be combined to benefit not just the body, but also the soul. Using the ancient chakra system as a guide, learn how the vibration of food and the spirit of eating connect to the seven aspects of our being: body, emotions, power, heart, voice, insight, and interconnection.

Deanna Minich, PhD, CN, is an "out-of-the-box" nutritionist who sees more to food than calories. Instead, she teaches that food choices and how we eat are ways to dive into the inner reaches of our being and to heal deep issues connected to how we live life. Her approach is unique, with a base of science, a sprinkle of spirituality, and a dash of practicality to help create meaningful meals. Her cutting-edge ideas to nutrition and health are captured in her latest books, Chakra Foods for Optimum Health, and An A to Z Guide to Food Additives.

Eco-psychology: Our Interconnectedness With all Life

We are not fully human unless we live consciously on Gaia, sharing the earth with all living beings, and honoring our interdependence. Remembering this larger sense of who we are brings wholeness, belonging, and purpose to our lives. Here we will reconnect with and strengthen our relationship with the natural world - animals, plants, rocks, water - and develop ways of interbeing. In the process we will access the places in ourselves which long for a home. We will then find ways to incorporate nature into our daily lives.

Cindy Levy, MA, CHT is a wildlife biologist, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, shamanic apprentice, and musician. Her work focuses on expanding our sense of self in the outer worlds (earth, ecosystems) and inner worlds (psyche, soul). She brings a grounded scientific background through 20 years of work with the US Fish and Wildlife Service and US Forest Service as a biologist and naturalist, while maintaining a psychospiritual therapy practice during the last 10 years as well.
