Here's to the Women
Song, Stories & Images of Washington's Women
Here’s to the Women!, a multi-media presentation celebrating one hundred years of Women’s Suffrage! Meet some of the women whose stories made the difference ~ stories of the silencing and the raising up of women's voices.
Here’s to the Women! highlights weavers and quilters, suffragists and farmers, labor leaders and politicians, Rosie the Riveters and domestic workers – women who have made a difference in Washington State’s history.
Linda will use songs, stories and images to commemorate the silencing and the raising up of women’s voices in Washington State. For this performance, she will be collaborating and sharing the evening with Rebel Voices: Susan Lewis and Janet Stecher whose songs, wit and humor are well-known to Northwest audiences.
