The Work of Byron Katie ~ Question Your Thinking, Change Your Life with Grace E. Bell
What relationship, condition, or situation in your life causes you the most pain? Do you experience stress, fear, or sadness with an important person in your life? Do you have a volatile relationship with your body or with food? Is money a problem? Do you have a memory that triggers pain or grief repeatedly? The Work of Byron Katie is a method of simple inquiry that offers powerful, life-changing insights for people as they clearly identify the concepts causing trouble and ask four questions. Everyone can use this profound tool on their own after leaving the workshop.
Grace Bell is a Certified Counselor in Washington State and a Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie. She works with teens-to-adults on freedom from addiction to negative thinking, teaching teleclasses and workshops locally and in Europe. She has experienced peaceful, long-term recovery from an extremely violent relationship with food and eating, despair during divorce, sadness in parenting, and panic around money. She found the answers resided in herself by doing The Work. She considers The Work her primary spiritual practice alongside meditation and dance.

The Joyful Voice (and Body) with Simone LaDrumma
This is a spontaneous, in-the-moment, FUN way to LIBERATE YOUR VOICE and your creativity, as well. Using a series of (occasionally nutty) exercises and interesting props, you'll be given the framework and the permission to let your voice out of its cage. You'll experience the pleasure of improvisational singing in community (no musical background required, nothing to memorize and you can't do it wrong!). This is also a great way to overcome shyness in public speaking. We will also use our bodies – hands and feet – to explore and reinforce our innate sense of RHYTHM. You want to learn how to live in the present? IMPROVISE!
Composer/teacher/performer Simone LaDrumma has been drumming professionally since 1987. In 1991, she created "Drumming & The Holistic Expression of Rhythm," a method of learning to play hand drums. Since then, Simone has brought the magic of rhythmic expression to thousands of people across the U.S., Canada and Europe. She was the founder and director of Ladies Don't Drum, who performed and recorded with Maya Angelou, Bobby McFerrin and others. Other workshops that facilitate creativity are "Rhythm-In-You: Find It, Feel It, Keep It," Piano Meditations, Dance-While-You-Can, and The Joyful Voice. She also has a comedy act called "Stand-Up Drummer."
