Experience Native American Drum Making

with Soaring Eaglewoman

We will be creating 15 inch Native American hand drums in ceremony. The drum making materials will all be blessed beforehand in preparation. During our creation Soaring Eaglewoman will sing songs and tell stories, as well as instruct how to use and care for the drum. Native Americans believe that the spirits of the animals and trees live on in the drums we create from their bodies. 

Soaring Eaglewoman has been creating her art for over 20 years. It has created a spiritual connection and brought her back to her Cherokee ancestors.

REGISTRATION

Non-refundable $50 deposit is due no later than Friday, June 13. Early registration is recommended, as class size is limited. Women and men are welcome to participate.

Class fee of $195 (minus the $50 deposit) is due the day of class, and includes drum making materials. Participants are asked to bring a 15 inch stick to make into the drum stick, usually no smaller than your little finger and no larger than your thumb.Soaring Eaglewoman has been creating her art for over 20 years.
