Intimacy is simple - looking, seeing and feeling inward
But we live in a time and space where taking the time to be intimate with yourself and others can feel cumbersome, hurried or even neglected. It takes effort to create spaces for intimacy.
Join us for an afternoon of Cultivating Intimacy in your Life with Grace Bryant and explore how Authentic Relating practices can bring joy, fun, creativity and slowness into your intimacy with self and others. The Authentic Relating practices, also called games, are a toolbox to get curious, listen deeply and cultivate the skills of intimate relating that can carry into all of your relationships. They include both playful and creative practices to connect and mindfulness, body awareness and meditative practices to slow down. This offers a balanced approach to relating and invites authenticity of what arises in the moment to take focus.
Through individual, partnered, small group and full group practices, we will explore:
intimacy through greater body awareness
curiosity - how to ask better questions and listen intimately
what's in the way of accessing a deeper intimacy and how to break those barriers
mindfulness and meditative practices
how taking ownership of your experience leads to more honesty and vulnerability
